Private Guided Tours in TASMANIA - Port Arthur

Tasmania has lots of historical tourist destinations into its compact landmass. Travelling distances are usually short and there is a good network of roads. Pristine beaches, rolling farmlands, historic villages, wild rivers, temperate rainforest and mountains wilderness are all less than a half-day’s drive from either of beautiful city of Hobart.  Clean waters and rich soil produce a cornucopia of exceptional fare - salmon, tuna, crayfish and abalone from cold seas; wild trout, seasonal fruits and berries, exceptional beer made from purest water and hopes, elegant cool-climate wines acclaimed cheese.

Our local tour guides offering many interesting and original private tours across Tasmania.

Located less than 2hr from Hobart, the Tasman Peninsula is a place of rugged beauty and sombre human history. Towering sea cliffs and dramatic rock formations, including blowholes, caves, arches and tessellated pavement, edge much of coastline, which is also home to sizable breeding colonies of Australian fur seals.  The Port Arthur prison settlement was at that time regarded as a hell on earth; today, more than 30 ruins and restored buildings are open to public. On a way to Port Arthur we suggest to visit historical town Richmond. There are several cherry and berry farms on a way to Port Arthur and very picturesque local cruise around Port Arthur as well.

This is another private guided tour which we suggest to take there.
